This drive system from AWR is a complete professional upgrade as an alternative to repairing the original equipment. The existing motors, gearboxes and electronics are replaced by our AWR Microstepping motor assemblies and drive box offering considerably improved torque, smoothness in operation and slew speed. GOTO features on the handset include telescope co-ordinate readout (RA and DEC), entry of new co-ordinates, backlash correction, periodic error calibration etc. Computer connection (optional) allows access to object databases and 'point and click' GOTO's, SYNC functions.
